Fiber Optics
From fiber optic cable placement to splicing and technical support, EATEL Construction has the personnel and experience to provide a quality product at competitive prices. Our most recent fiber optic project consists of a fiber to the home (FTTH) build-out. To facilitate a project of this magnitude, state-of-the-art equipment is utilized including fiber optic cable blowers and pullers as well as the newest addition used for testing purposes – an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR). This particular OTDR allows us to be one of only several contractors nationwide that can test fiber at 1490nm. Either multimode or single mode fiber can be tested with this unit.

Directional Boring
EATEL Construction's knowledgeable and safety conscientious personnel can manage most any directional boring project. With our broad array of directional boring equipment we are capable of installing pipe (steel, HDPE, or PVC), cable (fiber, copper, or coaxial), and innerduct. Through dirt and rock and from the smallest of service drop installations to massive river crossings, we can virtually handle any directional bore imaginable.

Underground Construction
Telephone companies, cable companies, chemical plants and businesses rely on EATEL Construction for a variety of outside plant construction services, including burial of underground cable construction, cable splicing, and manhole/handhole placement. We utilize several pieces of equipment to perform such services including, but not limited to, cable plows, trenchers, and backhoes.

Aerial Construction
Our aerial construction capabilities include everything from the installation of coaxial to copper communication cables as well as fiber optic cable. EATEL Construction could possibly be your one-stop aerial contractor providing services such as new pole placement or removal, anchor and guy placement, or strand and cable placement. As an added bonus for our customers, our construction crews have decades of combined construction experience. Their vast knowledge in this particular field gives our customers an added sense of comfort when our personnel are overseeing aerial projects.

Indoor Wiring, Termination and Testing
EATEL Construction has highly trained personnel to manage any of your indoor wiring and cabling projects. In stand alone buildings or extended campuses, our staff will pull runs of Cat-3, Cat-5 or fiber optic cable. We will also terminate and test the cable to your specifications if requested.

Civil Work
EATEL's experienced work crews are skilled at conducting various types of civil work. Previous projects successfully completed include site clearing and grading, pouring of concrete driveways and slabs, erection of fences and the setting of preformed concrete enclosures.

Diversity
We pride ourselves on being diversified. You may be aware of our expertise in aerial, underground and fiber optic construction, but we are also experienced in building hybrid- fiber-coax (HFC) networks. We recently completed a HFC project consisting of constructing over 220 miles of fiber optic and coaxial cable. Not only do we have the capability to build a project such as this but we also have the ability to engineer, design, test, and certify all of our work.
